Rashid Ali is a pioneering leader with over a decade of experience in community service and charitable work; Rashid serves as the driving force behind Muslim Sports Network. He champions sport as a catalyst for unity, empowerment, and social transformation.

In 2017, he made history as the first man to cycle from London to Makkah for Hajj. Then in 2023, he walked over 540 km from Makkah to Madinah, retracing the steps of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). These extraordinary journeys have sparked a wave of inspiration, encouraging others to pursue meaningful paths of their own.

His leadership is rooted in the belief that sport can change lives. Through strategic vision and a deep commitment to service, he continues to lead initiatives that uplift communities both locally and globally.

Shahim brings his passion for sports and fitness into every aspect of the organisation. As Director, Shahim is committed to promoting physical well-being as a way of life, especially within the Muslim community.

With a deep belief in the power of sport to build confidence, discipline, and unity, he aims to take fitness and overall well-being to the next level. An avid runner, Shahim recently took on the incredible challenge of a 100km race, embodying the dedication and resilience he encourages in others. He leads with energy, purpose, and a clear vision: to inspire, empower, and create lasting change through inclusive and accessible sports initiatives for all.

Russell is a dedicated Director at Muslim Sports Network, bringing with him a global passion for cycling and community engagement. An avid cyclist, Russell has completed rides across the world – from the scenic routes of Kenya to the vibrant landscapes of his home country, Bangladesh.

His love for adventure and fitness fuels his commitment to inspiring others to lead active, healthy lives. Through his leadership, Russell champions inclusivity, wellbeing, and the power of sport to connect people across cultures and backgrounds, helping to drive the vision of a stronger, healthier Muslim community.
